Berth Holders and visitors to Port Solent will be delighted to hear that work is to go ahead on the refurbishment of the facilities at Bridgehead 1...
...due to be completed in time for the 2009 season! Having been given the green-light, work commenced on 20th October!
The concept of the new facilities to have separate "event" and "berth holder" areas, with the new "event" facilities providing numerous unisex cubicles, extending what was onsite previously for crews of chartered events.
A separate area for berth holders will offer high quality unisex cubicles that will be complemented by a "Club" style lounge area. The new ablutions will also offer two family rooms and disabled facilities.
While works are carried out alternative facilities will be provided by Portacabin units in place for the duration of the works. Please keep a check on the Premier website or ask at marina reception for updates on progress.
Access to the pontoon bridgehead will also be altered slightly from the current private car park area but relevant signage will be put in place.
