Gosport Marina is a great location for a dry stack with excellent access to Portsmouth Harbour and the popular boating waters of the Solent
Dry stacking is a method of storing boats in racks on the land and is typically used by RIBs and power boats up to 10m in length. Boats are kept out of the water when they are not in use and launched upon request.
Once the boat is finished with it is washed and replaced in the rack. This reduces the maintenance costs and increases the performance of a boat and hence can increase its lifespan. Also drystacking means better security and less risk of storm damage.
