Marina: Gosport

Last year Gosport saw the implementation of the number plate recognition system for secure parking in the marina.

The system works effectively by taking a photograph of the number plate of every car that enters and exits the car park and is fed back to a PC in the marina reception. Staff at Gosport marina can access records to review the cars using the car park.

Additionally, a new security gate was installed at the north bridge of the marina. The old gate was somewhat unreliable leaving the marina open to access by non-marina users. The new gate is more efficient and provides better security for all berth holders at Gosport. But don't forget, the button to exit the pontoons is at the bottom of the bridge on the right hand side.
