At Brighton Marina boatyard we offer several boatyard services.
Boat handling
There are various options available to you depending on your requirements, from assistance, through to towing.
Pump out facilities
Brighton Marina berth holders are entitled to a free pump out. Bookings are advised to be made well in advance.
Lift, scrub and block off
We can safely lift your vessel ashore using our boat lifting equipment which is all operated by specially trained staff. On lifting your boat we wash the hull of the boat with a high pressure jet that removes most light weed and marine growth.
Once complete we will 'block' your vessel off on our specially designed cradles and pads and blocks of wood. The last lift of the day is approximately 1530 as the operation can take up to an hour and a half to complete. Brighton has a 60-ton travel hoist, 3.2-ton telehandler, 4-ton crane and a boat mover. Marina staff will be happy to advise on charges.
Lift, scrub and relaunch
This service is for vessels who simply want their boats hulls cleaned with our high pressure wash, no further time is allocated in this operation and once complete the boat is immediately launched. If you require additional time for fitting anodes or antifouling this can be arranged in advance but a separate charge call 'hold in slings' is applicable.
Launch
If you require your mast to be stepped on relaunch we can arrange this with our on site crane, in addition to this we offer towage and/or marina assistance to berth. Other marine contractors services may be required and are available on site i.e. valeting, chandelry, rigging.

Movement Ashore
If your vessel is blocked on wood or props and you or your contractors need your vessel moving in the yard i.e. from our undercover shed to yard, we can move you with our travel hoist and offer any other services at the same time i.e. craneage for engines, masts etc.
Movement in cradle
If your vessel is laid down on a cradle and you or your contractors need your vessel moving in the yard i.e. from our undercover shed to yard, we can move you with our boat mover and offer any other services at the same time i.e. craneage for engines, masts etc.
Mastwork
Step/unstep bare mast and store on deck or mast rack.
