LockMaster
Location: Port Solent Marina
Premier Marinas have an opening for the full time position of Lock Master at their Port Solent site in Portsmouth.
Premier Marinas own and operate 8 of the UK's top marinas, all based along the south coast, from Falmouth to Eastbourne.
The Lock Master position consists of a number of duties including lock operations, VHF operation, precise shore to sea communication and coordination, fuelling, berthing checks and general marina duties on a rolling 24 hour shift pattern.
The position of lock master is a challenging role and not one for the faint hearted, juggling telephone calls, VHF communications, boat movements, fuel deliveries and of course delivering everything to the highest of standards. Skilled Fabricator/Welder
Location: Swanwick
We currently have a vacancy for a skilled fabricator/welder within the Fabrication Department at Swanwick Marina.
Experience within the marine industry would be a distinct advantage.
Essential skills:
- TIG & MIG Welding to a high quality standard on Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
- Ability to fabricate from drawings and patterns with the minimum of supervision including the use of Lathe and Milling Machine.
- Adaptability and versatility, the desire to work in a team, seeking and offering advice in order to maximise quality and productivity.
Desirable Skills:
- Polishing of Stainless Steel.
- Tube bending and fabrication.
- Current Full Driving Licence.
We offer good rates of pay plus health cover and pension scheme (after qualifying period).
